ABOUT THE POSITION

As an automation engineer, you will work with maintenance, service, and upgrades of control systems for customers in the process industry. You will be responsible for configuring and optimizing system solutions and ensuring stable and efficient operations for the company's customers. The work includes technical support both on-site and remotely, depending on the customer's needs and the project's phase.

You will be part of a growing team and work alongside an experienced team based in Västerås. Since customer visits are a significant part of the job, it is important that you enjoy working closely with customers and have strong problem-solving skills. The team in Västerås collaborates closely with other support units in the country, giving you access to a broad network of experts and a solid introduction to the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

• Provide maintenance and technical support for industrial control systems at customer sites or remotely
• Handle error messages and troubleshoot control systems, as well as develop action plans and report them to the customer
• Program and implement new applications/features in control systems

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a completed engineering degree in automation, electrical, systems, or computer science from a university or college
• Has at least two years of work experience in automation
• Has experience in PLC programming
• Has worked with processes in the manufacturing industry and/or energy sector
• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work
• Has a B driver's license, as travel is included in the assignment

It is a merit if you have experience with the Codesys system.
